See what our patients have to say about us

Dr Alberts and his entire staff are WONDERFUL. I’ve had lots of work done recently and the quality has been fantastic!! In addition to great dental work, Dr Alberts has a very nice demeanor and he does a really good job of explaining things in a way that makes sense without freaking you out. He’s also AWESOME with kids. My toddler went in for her 1st cleaning and btw Susie’s warmth & enthusiasm and Dr Alberts friendly calm, she didn’t want to leave!! I would HIGHLY recommend for adults and kids.

Dr Gary Alberts saved my smile! After a horrific rollerblading accident resulting in no front teeth and my jaw wired shut for 2.5 months, Dr Alberts literally saved my smile. He temporarily bonded my front teeth WHILE my mouth was wired shut, and I actually love my new front teeth (2 crowns) more than I loved my original front teeth. The entire staff is kind, patient, helpful, and caring. I feel like part of their family. Dr Alberts’ reputation truly proceeds itself. The office is great for cosmetic dentistry as well as family routine care. My kids love going to get their teeth cleaning, and even our dog gets treats!

If you are in pain, or having problems with your teeth, this is a dentist for you! Dr Alberts will see you any time and make your pain go away. After a few years of my complicated dental situation, he is not just a dentist for me, but a compassionate friend, who really cares.
I was missing a lot of teeth, he took his time, expertise, and came up with the treatment plan, that improved my chewing ability, my bite, and my smile. I had an old type of implant previously, that no other dentist could restore. Dr Alberts did! He went out of his way to call the company in Germany to request the correct part, he instructed them to make it. I really appreciate his hard work. The office staff is kind and warm, very professional and knowledgeable!

I am one of those lucky people that has been cavity prone most of my life so a excellent dentist is very important to me. Dr Albert’s and his entire staff are the best, They are genuinely concerned about you as a person and a patient which is hard to find. Recently, Dr Albert’s did the veneers on my six front teeth, I had an unfortunate accident when I was 8 and lost my one front tooth and cracked the other. I have had multiple caps, braces, root canal then finally an implant. The restoration that was done is beautiful and the time and care put into my preference for color and style made me so comfortable and confident with my decision. I am a director of National Sales so I am in front of customers. This procedure has truly boosted my confidence in my appearance which is important t anyone who is looking for an excellent dentist and terrific support staff.

Dr Alberts and his family staff are fantastic people and very excellent in their profession!
I truly enjoy going to his office whether for a cleaning & check up with Ina; or when I have a dental issue, Dale will totally set me at ease while prepping for Dr Alberts.
Suzi ALWAYS greets me with a grand smile; & in a warm, welcoming manner!
Dr Alberts is a great dentist! Always clearly explains the procedure first, then again with each step. I nebver had pain or discomfort; while he is working. I, also, NEVER has any problems wirh the procedure”failing” or repeated “fixings” of a procedure.Thee isalways a compassionate follow up call from Suzi, making sure I am ok and happy!
For a person who was genuinely scared of goinf to the dentist, Dr alberts was the best recommendation I ever received:)

Media Decay And The Space Between (VIDEO)
By James M. Lynch

A well known leader in the world of transformation, comedian Jim Carrey, in his introduction for Eckhart Toller Transformational Entertainment conference, spoke about news and media as being “About people’s conflicts tied together in the most exciting possible way and you imagine that the world is this explosive, horrifying place and the news is all this negativity condensed and it really is not representative of what the world is or what the world wants.”
A lesser known leader in the world of transformation, my dentist, Dr. Gary Alberts, brought up something similar today. He mentioned how there is so much negative and sensational news in the world and how every time you turn on the TV someone is trying to frighten you into watching their news program by shouting out shocking news headlines: “The killer in your basement” (mold and mildew) or “Are schools killing our children?” (a report on poor nutrition in school lunches).
Dr. Alberts was referencing one of my Huffington Posts in which I mentioned that we could fire the negative influences in our lives and hire more positive ones. In that article, Mirror Images: Reflecting the Best in YOU, I mentioned hiring and firing people not only as employees or clients, but as friends. Gary mentioned that he ‘fires’ much of the sensational, yellow journalism news programs and spends time on alternative news sites that also report on the good and positive. But as I thought about our conversation afterward I realized he does more to create a ‘transformed’ world than that.
Gary has built his whole practice by hiring people like Suzie and Dale who actually like people. A visit to his office is like a, well, a VISIT, with some dentistry added. His office is full of staff that will MapQuest the route from a new client’s place of business to the office, but also include a second route from their home in case their plans change. Gary has made sure that the time he spends working is in a climate where he can be his best and where everyone around him is given that same permission. He’s created an oasis of transformation.
I visited him today because I’ve been in such pain from a recent procedure for kidney stones that I literally cracked a tooth by clenching my teeth. I’ve experienced ‘11’ pain on a 1-10 scale for hours at a time and, at least recently, my life has been lived as extreme pain with a space between for relief that is either dulled pain or no pain. I could, in the context of this discussion, see life as pain, with a space in between of no pain.
What I’d rather do is to see life as joy and see the pain as existing in the space between. It is like seeing my recent discomfort as a chapter in the book, not the book itself. And it helps by making sure that all the interactions in my life are the results of conscious choice. Like hiring and firing friends and clients, hiring and firing in all of aspects of my life including where I shop, where I eat, my doctors of all types and every other aspect of my life.
Building out from Gary’s practice I can make the choice not to allow people to make me wait, treat me impersonally or to put up with substandard treatment or service. Rather than shopping for the lowest cost, I can shop for a place that I can afford that will share my values. Supporting the businesses and professionals who make an effort, who do their jobs as an extension of themselves and not like robots or slaves can help us all create the world around us that we would love to be in.
The problems, breakdowns and bad service are then relegated to smaller and smaller ‘blips’ on the screen with more and more of the space between becoming ‘high’ moments filled with positive, reinforcing experiences. My life, in this case, would be the moments at the coffee shop where everyone goes out of their way to be friendly, to the dentist’s office I’m mentioning, to the family owned dry cleaner using the ‘eco-friendly’ system and then the potholes, aggressive drivers and other stuff would be the space between these great moments of connection and sharing.
Turning off FOX news for example, the worst example of yellow journalism since the term was invented in the late 1800s, can help send the message that we know there are evils in the world, but we also know that there are good people who care. Maybe then we wouldn’t see the National Enquirer being nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. We could support instead some great new blogazine, like Ageless Northshore, a new type of journalism that reports on things to see and do but also adds a level of encouragement on how to grow, change and adapt in an ever changing world.
Time is finite; there is only so much of it and then we’re done. I challenge you to seek out the oases and choose to create those as the markers along the journey; the more you add, the more enjoyable the journey. The space between will always have pitfalls and decay of some sort or the other, but we can become conscious of our choices and transform our own lives in a way that will, eventually, transform the whole world.
If you’d care to leave a comment to this article please take the time to mention someone you know who, like Dr. Alberts and his staff create an oasis of positive energy by doing what they do the best way they know how. Let’s celebrate the good a little bit.

Thanks for all you have done for me and my family. We are so lucky to know you and benefit from your expert, gentle care. With love from
Anastasia

I want to tell you what a wonderful office you have there! So worth this unfortunate tooth situation I had on Nov. Dr Alberts thought it best to seek attention in LA for it. Well, let me say I’ve been to 5 (yes 5, long stories but 5) dentists & none are even close to the over-all package of your office. Your office is the best-the hygenists are always friendly, gentle & thorough. Suzi at the front is so warm & welcoming (You should see some of the gals who work front offices-susie is a gem!) & I get more compliments on Dr alberts’ beautiful work from each dentist. Ypur warmth at the office is the key but so is your attention to detail, hygienic practices (I took for granted how sanitary your office is, especially always changing gloves!) & genuine top-notch dental care makes it so apparent why I have zero problem flying in to get dental work! Thanks for being such a great office & for great care, I thought you were before, but even more so & wanted to share, Thanks
Bridget G

I just wanted to say a very big “thank you” for all your help and for “saving the day”…I appreciate your kindness and I had a “pain-free” weekend! Than you!

We wold like to say that your dental service has surpassed our highest expectations in both quality of work, and genuine concern for our well-being. Your artful work is truly painless, and most importantly, it is perfect. Your well -chosen staff deserves the highest praise as well. It is rare these days to find a business that encompasses all that you have at your office.

Love your dentist? Well-lets not get crazy but they really are the best practice around. It’s not just the nice vibe and friendly staff. Prevention minded-honest as you can get (scouts honor) and technically very good. Best crown evah!

I have been coming to your practice for over a year now. I decided to seek treatment from a recommendation from another doctor at our practice. I have been to many dentists over the years but have never encountered one that has been as talented as you. The only goal in your decisions regarding patient care is the patients well being. Your judgment is impeccable and technical skills far superior to most. Your staff is about the best and skilled as I have seen anywhere. From the moment you walk in, you are treated with respect, humor and hospitality. I had several crowns replaced. The temporary crowns are better than most dentists’ permanent ones! I just wanted to thank you and your staff for the work that I have received and will receive for some time to come. I actually look forward to visits there!
